We were trying to break our speed record for dropping entrecards in 20 minutes but right in the middle of things, the Entrecard server broke.
We sure hope it's not our fault. :)
The Two Superheroes clone were flying around the blogosphere and we thought it would be nice to strip LiewCF naked. No we don't mean the geeky LiewCF as a real person. We mean strip his website of ads because the Malaysian First Problogger clearly have lots of them. I guess you need lots of ads in order to be as successful in making online money.
We used FireFox Adblock plugin to "strip" LiewCF.

I guess you can't see much difference in the screenshot but it's noticeable we have more reading area after the major ads were stripped out.
Also since we are on a learning expedition, it's good we don't get distracted by ads.
Recently the Two Superheroes Clone has been looking to buy some websites with PR.
Would you believe that there are certain domains that not only have one PR but multiple Page Ranks. You see some expired domains used to have subdomains that are active and have actual Page Rank. So if you buy www.mydomain.com for example, makemoney.mydomain.com may also have a page rank.
Right now we are in the process of offering an owner of an expired domain that has PR3 but we found that there are several subdomains with PR2 in it. That's a great deal, if we sales go thru. :)

We saw a kitten at the divider of a busy highway. Stopped and picked up this kitten. At first it could not walk and we thought that it's legs were broken. Took it to the vet and the doctor said it was ok. Just malnutritioned and gave it a deworming jab.
It's been taken care of now at home with some special milk fed thru a syringe.
It looks cute with the tiger like stripes.
Help us name the bugger..
We love the fact that all our revenue streams are making pennies now. The two main channels, namely, Advertlets and Adsense is starting to bring in pennies. Advertlets is a few cents a day and Adsense is a few cents on that odd day.
The reason we are happy is that we have experienced this before in our other blogs. Starts with one or two cents a day but as time goes the money also increases ever so slightly. All that is needed is regular updating. We like the analogy 5xmom.com gave. Tending to your website is like taking care of your garden. It needs lots of water and plenty of sunshine. Pay attention to it and it will flourish.
As clone we want to make many tiny websites like this and earn pennies. Multiplied many times, things can really add up.

Not only do we use the Super heroes theme on this blog but we are true avid Superheroes fan too.
For example, currently we are hooked on the Superman cartoon. Ironically it also features a Superman clone. See, clones are the in thing today :)

A few days ago our traffic drop below 10 !!
How can that be? We are now declaring 10 as a no fly zone. We must have more than 10 visitors daily :)
So now the no. 10 is set as a No Fly Zone. No flying below 10 visitors!!

The original Twosuperheroes asked on their blog if anybody can slice apples like they do.
As clone we took that as a challenge. How can we as clones not be able to do something as simple as slice an apple.
So here it is. Apple sliced the same way. We cloned the same apple slicer :)
Our master who cloned us has made some money by winning a chess tournament. This is a great achievement for him because he is only well known as a chess blogger never as a capable chess player. He calls himself a "Patzer" - a deragatory term meaning WEAK CHESS PLAYER. Still, he enters tournaments regularly but with the main intention of taking pictures and reporting the results to his readers who are chess fanatics.
His efforts has been rewarded and we congratulate him with his win.
Lesson to be learnt:
If you keep going at something and putting enormous efforts as well as have a passion for it, you will be rewarded in the end.
Transfer any gene of interest systematically into E. coli, yeast, mammalian (etc.) background with high speed and convenience to screen for the optimal host/tag combination.
Now this is real life cloning !! Though we don't know what it means :)

Yahoo!! Today we completed our very first 300 Entrycard credits. That's the maximum you can drop for the day.
We want to save enough to advertise ourselves at JohnChow.com.
At the rate we are going we will have enough credits in 2 weeks time.
Of course it's possible but you have to be very good at priorities and be consistent.
From the start the creator of this clone site already had 50 plus blogspot and wordpress self-hosted sites. The plan was to try as many niche as possible and see which one brought in the money. The trial is still on-going and usually effort is placed into the blogs that bring in the moolah. Currently there are 10 active blogs that are being maintained.
Of course our cloned blogs are all different in some way or another especially in content. Some are related but we have tried our best to separate them and give them each unique flavours.
How to dedicate time to each blog
We keep an excel spreadsheet to see the frequency of updates for each blog.
We also keep track of our ad revenue such as Google Adsense to see which channel is performing well. Sometimes we will just update an old site because it's been forgotten. Adsense channel is particularly useful here as sometimes high value clicks come from forgotten blogs. Our experience is that forgotten blogs with low page impressions can suddenly 50cents to 1 dollar per click - most probably because of smart pricing.
It's only day two since we announced our target to hit 100 visitors. Not a bad start for a brand new cloned site don't you think?

As clones we are always amazed at how cloning science have advanced. Take for example this story:

When I first saw cards like this on blogs, I was puzzled. What the hell were those things ??
When it first launched Entrecard has a very original concept, and still does.
Bascally you go out and hand out a virtual business card to help with the promotion of your blog. No money involved. All credits are virtual! (However there are people selling EC credits on eBay for real money).
How it works
You sign up (one blog one email) and you have an initial price of 2 credits for advertisers to put their cards on your blog. The price goes up as you collect more credits. You can go to other sites and click on "Drop" to earn one credit. The website owner will see your card that you drop in their Entrecard admin panel. The same goes to you. You can see all the cards other people have dropped in your inbox.
Advantages
The cool thing is once you sign up and become a regular card dropper, you'll see a spike in traffic. Many say Entrecard traffic is useless and junk traffic because Entrecard visitors aren’t very likely to hang around after dropping their card.
However, there are some who stay around and actually read your content if you can have something that catches their eye.
Another positive is that you can even get your ads on one a popular blogs such as problogger.net or johnchow.com without paying a single cent. Just need lots of credits that's all.
Joel Comm that Adsense ebook seller has just become a member Entrecard and you can advertise on his site too.
So far my experience using Entrecard has been positive. I have to say that established blogs like 5xmom, LiewCF and HongKiat would not benefit at all from this program. Only newbie bloggers like us will benefit more in the instant traffic and potential to hook one or two loyal reader. Just make sure you have some good content or interesting post.
Whoops... previous blog post was about Apple computers and it's clone. Now we are talking about REAL apples.
Twosuperheroes original bought an Apple Peeler from Ikea for RM9.90. That's about USD 3. Found an almost exact copy (clone?) on eBay for a fraction of the price at USD 1.11. However packaging and postage pushes it way above the price of the peeler itself. Shucks.. looks like we have to make our way to Ikea to get one :(
We kept checking and checking. Finally we are now in Google's index. Getting in Google Search Engine Result Page (SERP) is important. If you are not there then you are invisible to the online world.
Now we just have to target some important keywords to bring in some moolahs from Adsense :)

That's a tremendous 15 million drop !!
It seems the folks at Alexa threw away the original algorithms and cloned a new one. We don't like the new algorithm, Alexa!! Particularly when it dropped us by so much.
Could there really be 27,754,366 more blogs better than us?
That's depressing.
On the other hand, as clone we understand why Alexa is trying out the new alorithm. They were tired of the original and thought that a clone will have improvements. After all they have become the 2nd most important ranking mechanism on the net after Google Page Rank.
Established blogs like HongKiat.com was 20,000 something also dropped to 47,238. More blogs dropped instead of improved in their rankings.
Anyway, a positive light to it is we are only beginning so we will be seeing some leap and bounds (like some million rank jumps) the next couple of weeks !!
Advertlets vs Nuffnang
Two of the earliest local online advertising companies is none other than Advertlets and Nuffnang. Much has been blogged about both and from our own experience in our other blogs we make more money with Nuffnang. We don't want to play favourites to any but we will give our 100% support to the company that clones us the most money , of course. Money talks!!
Advertlets a clone too?
As Advertlets was created and launched just after Nuffnang, we as clones feel for Advertlets. In some ways on business idea, Advertlets is similiar to Nuffnang, strikingly similiar to a clone (emphasis in "similiar"! ). Even though it didn't work for us in our earlier blogs we want to give Advertlets a second chance and try to monetize it here on this blog as an experiment.
Experiment
Our objectives is to hit 100 visitors daily and see what sort of revenue Advertlets can generate. That's because with Nuffnang, once we had a website hitting 100 visitors or more, that site usually will start generating money from Nuffnang. Let's see if Advertlets is the same.
As you can see we have already placed Advertlets ads on prime locations on this blog.
We could not get the new widget to work on the sidebar as it kept getting screwed up. So, we decided to go back to the old fashioned widget and cloned one from JohnCow.com.

Gaining internet superpowers overnight is every "make money online" bloggers dream. Of course 99% of those dreamers will fail and 1% will make at least enough income to qualify them probloggers.
Don't believe the hype in making thousands overnight by buying a certain product or e-book. Those marketeers are just playing on human nature greed. You know, the kind that attracts people to buy the lottery.
There's no such thing as start an online venture today and wake up a millionaire tomorrow!
Yes we do have real internet entrepeneurs that make substantial amount of money over the internet. However it took a tremendous amount of sweat, blood and most importantly time for them to get to where they are.
Most important of all you must have goals. Definitive goals.
That is why this blog is in no hurry. The target is to stay long term and monetize in 1-2 years time. In the meantime, off we go into our hibernating chamber. Our bodies may be asleep but our consciousness will be absorbing all the best tips available on the net :)
We are confident to be the 1% minority that will make it!

Registered with Yahoo! Mail and took the name: two.superheroes since twosuperheroes was taken.
Created our very own avatar in MyBlogLog using the same Yahoo account. Now we can fly off leaving our avatar marks on all the other websites that have the MyBlogLog widget installed.
Yahoo! has really good tools such as photo sharing with Flickr so we opened a Flickr account too under the same account.
Now we can have a place to store all the pictures we take. Photos and pictures are very important to a blog.
Yeah even superheroes clone need to start from scratch.
First thing we did is registered with Entrecard for traffic and sitemeter to track the traffic we are getting. Entrecard is the perfect traffic generating too for brand new blogs despite what others have said about Entrecard bringing in 'junk traffic', we have to disagree. We don't mind junk traffic at this moment as long as it is traffic!
After all, beggars can't be choosers right :)
